Notice of Public Hearing
The Investigation Committee of the Commission to Inquire into Child Abuse currently proposes to hold a public hearing in relation to St. Vincent's Industrial School, Goldenbridge, on Tuesday 15 March, 2005 - possibly going on into Wednesday 16 March. However, this date/time is subject to last minute change - I will let you know as soon as I hear of any such change.
The hearing will commence at 10-30am in the Hilton Hotel, Charlemont Place, Dublin 2 (near the Portobello pub).
Sr. Helena O'Donoghue of the Sisters of Mercy, who are management respondents in relation to St. Vincent's school, will give general background information in relation to the school.
Transcripts from the public hearing will be posted to the Commission's website as soon as available.
Following the public hearing, the committee currently proposes to move into private session in respect of St. Vincent's from 18 March , in the Commission's offices in St. Stephen's Green House. No transcripts of the private hearings will be made available.

However, this date/time is subject to last minute change - I will let you know as soon as I hear of any such change.
The hearing will commence at 10-30am in the Aston Suite, Alexander Hotel, Dublin 2 (beside the Davenport Hotel).
Sr. Una O'Neill of the Sisters of Charity, who are management respondents in relation to St. Patrick's school, will give general background information in relation to the school.
Transcripts from the public hearing will be posted to the Commission's website as soon as available.
